Open Studios This Saturday

Hello New York friends! Please join me this Saturday, December 1st, from 6-10pm at my studio in the historic Barney Building in the heart of the East Village (34 Stuyvesant Street). I promise drinks, hors d'oeuvres, paintings, textiles (psst...hand block printed scarf preview!) and good company. It was a blast last year when a few bloggers showed up and introduced themselves- come!

Hope to see you Saturday. xo

  1. Wish I could be there, have a great night!

  2. My sleepy brain read Azi Amiri as Aziz Ansari for a minute, and I was so jealous! I still wish I could come and check it out though! ;)

  3. Sounds delightful, wish I was in NYC. The scarf pic is dreamy.

PS What's with the Sorbonne PhD folks? First of all... Sorbonne in NYC? Second... PhD in fine arts? Is an MFA no longer the terminal degree? Mind confused.

    1. Our MFA program has an academic exchange with the Sorbonne thanks to Carla Bruni:) After we finish our MFA we can go to Paris for a year, and likewise the Sorbonneurs can come to New York. In France they have a PhD in visual art, but the MFA is still the terminal degree here.

  4. I wish I was in NYC! I would stop in for sure. PSSST...when will the scarves be shopable? I am TOO excited!

  5. Sounds so fun - wish I could be there! Please have a cocktail or three for me.
