{An Article! With Photos! In A Magazine!}

Happy July 1st! Now that we've gone to press and it's fo real, I'm thrilled to tell you that I have a feature piece in the inaugural issue of Kinfolk Magazine, a new online and limited edition print magazine on all the stuff I (we?) go batty over: minimalist art and design, portraits of simple living and tangible ideas for authentic, small-scale entertaining. Basically the antithesis of Martha Stewart Living. There will be no psycho DIY paper pompom-making tutorials; this is, as the magazine's motto describes, a guide for small gatherings.
But I'm just a tiny cog in the whole hand-crank machine of Kinfolk; it's the brainchild of the amazing couple behind Hearblack, one of my absolute favorite quiet, inspiring places on the internet. These guys have been killing themselves getting the rad website up and running (and I *dig* their wonderful blog), and I'm humbled to be among some rawther varsity contributors (like that brilliant Jennifer Causey behind The Maker's Project). Kinfolk launches online July 15, but you can order your advance print copy here.
Have a great weekend!

Hey! I understand this is somewhat off-topic however
ReplyDeleteI had to ask. Does building a well-established website such as yours take a massive
amount work? I am completely new to operating a blog but I do write in my journal every day.
I'd like to start a blog so I will be able to share my personal experience and views online. Please let me know if you have any ideas or tips for brand new aspiring bloggers. Thankyou!
